Don't want to tackle this project yourself? We've mapped local service providers who specialize in exactly this type of work across cities in Canada and the US.
Buying the headline product but missing accessories
Many jobs fail because the buyer gets the camera, computer, tester, or microphone but forgets cables, mounts, power, adapters, or storage.
Ignoring the room or site conditions
Noise, lighting, distance, network runs, counter space, and power access often matter more than the most expensive item in the kit.
Choosing pro gear before the workflow is proven
Higher-end gear is useful when requirements are clear. For first builds, prove the workflow with a reliable recommended kit first.
Start with the required gear that removes the biggest bottleneck for the job, then add upgrades only after the base workflow works end to end.
Choose budget for testing the workflow, recommended for the best value, and pro only when the setup is tied to paid work or repeat production.
